Victoria Park focuses on digitized energy and environmental optimization and connects its properties to the cloud.
Egain, a leading provider of IoT and cloud-based services in self-optimizing heat management in apartment buildings, now announces further development of the already successful partnership with Victoria Park. One of the country’s largest private property owners in Sweden now chooses to connect most of its property portfolio of approximately 14,000 apartments to Egain’s leading IoT service Egain Edge.
Victoria Park and Egain have collaborated on energy and environmental optimization in Victoria Park’s properties in various locations in Sweden for a couple of years. The cooperation has continuously delivered a successful energy and environmental savings thanks to the proptech solution.
As a result of the positive cooperation, Victoria Park now chooses to invest fully in Egain Edge as the central platform for environmental and energy optimization and connects remaining properties in Sweden to Egain Edge. The new agreement means that most of Victoria Park’s 14,000 apartments on approximately 750,000 m2 are fully connected to Egain’s cloud service for ongoing optimization and infrastructure for IoT.
“For Victoria Park, focus on sustainability is high on the agenda in everything we do. In the energy field, Egain is an important long-term partner for us who over and over again proved the benefits that our cooperation generates both externally when talking environmental gains, but also internally in terms of increased efficiency for our staff on site. I am convinced that this is the right way to go looking at how the industry and society evolve. Valuable measurement, connected buildings and intelligent cloud-based systems make it easier for us and create a better indoor environment for our tenants, and Egain is leading this journey, “says Per Ekelund, CEO of Victoria Park.
“We are very pleased and above all proud of the continued trust we have now gained from Victoria Park. The demand for digitizing the property sector is huge and with this cooperation we prove once again that we can deliver attractive, future-proof and cost-effective solutions on a large scale, which is wonderfully inspiring going forward, says Magnus Åhlén, Vice President, Sales & Customer Success Nordics at Egain Group.
