Egain is nominated for the Sustainable Future Price!
For the second year, the Sustainable Future Award will be shared during the Almedal Week in Sweden and this year we at Egain are pleased to be one of four very strong finalists to be nominated for the prize!
The Sustainable Future Prize was established in 2018 for lifting the actor who in the past year delivered the best feasible idea for a sustainable society. The prize is awarded based on the aspects of feasibility, scalability, height of ideas, ecological sustainability, social sustainability and economic sustainability.
“It is time that we focus on properties that account for 41% of Europe’s energy consumption and 36% of the greenhouse gases. The road to achieving the global sustainability goals goes through the smart city and then we need intelligent, connected, buildings ”, comments Viktor Vitell, CMO at Egain.
Our purpose: To stop all unnecessary energy use and inefficiency in buildings.
The prize will be distributed like last year during Almedal Week and will be done in collaboration between Gröna Städer, ÅF and Dagens Opinion.
The reality of climate change has never been clearer, neither has the way forward. Buildings account for 41% of the world’s energy consumption and 36% of greenhouse gases. Egain’s purpose is to put a stop to energy and poor efficiency waste in the world’s buildings.
