Egain Group launches new services and products for customized data collection and easy connection of buildings
Egain Group, a leading SaaS technology company in digital control and energy optimization of housing and public buildings, is now launching the new Building Connectivity service that enables property owners to collect the property data they themselves are interested in, in a new simple, way.
Egain’s Software as a Service platform, Egain Edge, provides opportunities for property owners in both Sweden and the rest of Europe to take advantage of digitalization opportunities in the simplest possible way.
Now the company presents the latest innovation in the new service Building Connectivity. The simplest, fastest, and most affordable way to connect all building information to a central cloud solution. This, together with a completely new service package, is based on three different levels adapted to the needs of different property owners.
Building Connectivity means that property owners with minimal effort can collect data from different types of technical systems in a building. Everything from heat and water, to ventilation or pump status, can be collected regardless of communication protocol or brand. Different hardware solutions can be applied based on the conditions in the building. Examples of such units are the new collection unit Egain Harvest, existing Egain M-Bus Master, or Egain Gateway.
New hardware and service: Egain Harvest
The installation of the new Egain Harvest under the Building Connectivity service is done quickly, and once in place, the user can begin to build their own analysis tools by visualizing and combining different obtained measurement values from a building, in Egain Edge. Alarm functionality can then be applied to selected data types and meters to enable remote control of functionality in buildings for the property owner.
– Building Connectivity is a new and innovative concept for property owners to connect different equipment from different suppliers, with different protocols and communication interfaces in one and the same data consolidation platform. Now it is easy to collect all the data in the same format in order to be able to do analyses, gain insight about their entire building stock, and become data-driven in their decisions. Finding incorrect settings, incorrect equipment, and optimization possibilities quickly and cost-effectively, says Jon Åkerström, CTO at Egain Group.
– Karl-Johan Holm, CEO of Egain Group comments: With the launch of Building Connectivity, we make access to your data easy. Together with our new service packaging, we are taking important steps towards our goal of offering customer-centric services and products that are easy to understand, buy, and use.
– The real estate industry is changing. Requirements both internally and externally to improve the efficiency of the operating organization and maintain a good indoor climate while acting sustainably and with the improved operating net are getting more and more common. Finding solutions that fit your own organization is a major challenge. It’s not easy. I am therefore pleased that, as a result of our customer-focused work today, we can offer functionality that adds value to our customers regardless of the solutions that have already been installed. It should be easy to connect your property and access your data, says Martin Eksberg, Head of Business & Customer Success, Egain Sweden.
