Egain Group appoints new CEO

The Board of Egain Group has appointed Karl-Johan Holm as CEO. Karl-Johan has extensive experience from various positions within international technology companies, most recently as CEO of Icomera. He will assume the position on April 1, 2020.

KUNGSBACKA – March 9, 2020. Egain Group, a leading technology SaaS company within digital control and energy optimization of residential and government buildings, announced today Karl-Johan Holm as the company’s CEO. On April 1, Karl-Johan will replace the current interim CEO, Sven-Olof Husmark, who, as Senior Adviser, will remain in the company during a transition period.

Karl-Johan comes most recently from a position as CEO of Icomera, which develops onboard Internet connectivity solutions for passengers and transportation operators; in particular passenger Wi-Fi and related services. During Karl-Johan’s time as CEO over the past seven years Icomera became the clear global leader in mobile Internet connectivity for public transport.

With more than 20 years of successful B2B technology leadership experience, having delivered enterprise-class technology solutions for customers around the world, Karl-Johan has a strong understanding of the new digital paradigm and how to develop organizations, programs, and solutions to deliver outstanding customer value and maximize a company’s opportunities.
